Built with KUKA’s reliable 6-axis robot, the SYIL R1 Machine Tending System is the perfect solution for high-mix, low-volume tasks.
The robot and grid pattern are programmed through the SIEMENS controller.
The R1 cell is designed to automate repetitive tasks associated with machine tending, such as loading and unloading parts into CNC machines. The robot autonomously retrieves parts from the flat table, loads them into the machine, removes the finished part, and places it on the flat table again, or on any other outfeed mechanism.
