The G2 is a compact, high-performance 5-axis CNC sliding head machine for ⌀20 mm applications that delivers exceptional value with precision, flexibility, and ease of use.
The G series allows seamless switching between guide sleeve and sleeveless modes, featuring an intuitive interface for quick adjustments. This versatility ensures optimal processing across a wide range of applications.
CSA compliant electrical system
The G2 series Swiss-type CNC lathes support bar diameters up to 26 mm with spindle through-holes up to 30 mm, depending on the model. All configurations allow both guide bushing and guide bushing-less operation (maximum unsupported length 2.5×D, up to 50 mm).
Main and sub-spindles operate up to 10,000 rpm (8,000 rpm with rotary guide bushing), enabling high-speed turning and back-working. Drilling capacities reach Ø10 mm with tapping up to M10 on the main spindle, and up to M8–M10 on the back spindle depending on the configuration.
The machines integrate multi-station tooling including external turning tools, end-face tools (ER16), radial live tooling (ER11 / ER16), and back-working stations, allowing full part machining in a single cycle. Live tool speeds reach up to 6,000 rpm, supporting milling, drilling, and tapping operations.
Axis rapid movements reach up to 24,000 mm/min, ensuring reduced cycle times. Positioning repeatability is ≤0.003 mm and spindle runout ≤0.002 mm, supporting high-precision production requirements.
Installed spindle power ranges from 3.1 to 4.2 kW, with a compact footprint (approx. 2.4–2.6 m width) and machine weights between 2400 kg and 3000 kg depending on model configuration.
